Movie

Hi, today I will talk about a movie, well, I don’t usually watch movies because I can’t stand spend so much time -like two hours- watching the same thing, but in the last time, one of my friends lend me her account of Netflix, and since this time I acquired some Knowledge about others movies, well, the other day, five days ago, in order to be more precise, I saw a movie, this movie is so famous but I never felt interested about this movie, her name is “Big Fish” this is a movie by Tim Burton, the actors who take part in this film was Ewan McGregor, Albert Finney, Billy Crudup, Jessica Lange, among others. This is a fantasy drama about the relation between a father and a son that do not speak years ago, the son feels upset because he don’t understand the life of this father, because they don’t know which stories of his is real and which is fake, in the movie the son knows better his father, for in the end achieve a beautiful connection and understanding the real meaning of the big fish.

 I enjoyed so much this movie, because is a perfect mixture between the magic of a fantasy world and the real life with all his complications, I think this movie teaches that the force of the imagination has no limits, and that we can make the world a more entertaining place only telling a story, living through it and making special.

Lana Del Rey - West Coast

Hi, I have to choose just want singer or band for this post, and I think this is so, so difficult, because in this moment I’m obsessed with two singer/band, the band is Planeta no, a Chilean
band, and the singer is Lana del Rey, I will choose the last one, because I think the story is more interested. 

Well, when this singer start to become popular in the country I hated the sound of her voice, I hated hear her songs in the radio it was like a torture, in my worst nightmares the background noise was Lana del Rey, I couldn't stand the fashion of crown of flowers and I told a friend of mine that she had the ears damaged if she was listening her songs, but today I’m in the other side, I liked so much. 
She play pop music, dream pop and electro, and I think that the sad melodies captivated me, because the majority of her songs tell stories of bad loves, or lost and lonely women, I’m really curious about this, but I think that this is because she is cancer (zodiac sign). Well, my favorite song in this moment is West Coast, but just for the moment, maybe tomorrow I like another.

Hi, I would like to learn a lot of things, for example the correct way of sing because I know that I don’t use all the capacity of my lungs, and I heard that with hard work and persistence even the worst singer can be a star. For other side I would love to learn other languages like French or Portuguese, because in a future I want to travel around the world. As for the music in the past I tried to learn to play the wind piano, but it so difficult for me, is like my brain and my fingers they were not connecting, this happens to me with all the musical instruments, in my family my dad is so fan of the guitar and he tried to teach me but I can’t!  I hate smash my fingers in the guitar string, but Man, don't even matter. Also I would like to learn to write novels or shorts stories, since I was a kid I wrote but I think that for to be a real writer like Bombal, Cortázar, Oscar Wilde and others, I need to learn a lot more of draft of texts or the correct use of the words and punctuation marks. Well, that’s is for today, bye bye

Hi, today I will talk about the city, in my case I lived in Santiago de Chile, well in my opinion this city represent the inequality of the country, because it takes very beautiful homes, magnificent buildings, but for other side exist poverty and dark places, full of fear and pain. For example I like so much the parks of this city, like Parque Bustamante, O’higgins, Balmaceda, Forestal, etc, because I feel happy in places with nature and I think that in this parks people relax, and it feels good when you walk for this parts alone or with specials persons, observing the games for children or eating some junk food or a boring apple. Well, the problem is that these parks are concentrated in just one part of the city, in some communes, in which it is more expensive to live; I think this is so unfair, but it’s always the same, we live in an unjust world.

To finish, I would recommend visiting these parks, and other places like Cerro San Cristóbal, because those trips are worth and connect us to the ancient mystical energy (if your zodiac sign is Sagittarius, Aquarius or aries, you’ll be very satisfied  whit this place) And in this hill you can take photos for remember the occasion.

Hello dear friends! today I will talk about education. Well, first of all I think this is a difficult topic, hard to explain, because in this country there are many structural problems, that affecting development of the education. Now, what I mean by that is the problems in the education have relation with a system that promotes the competition, and the individualism. This is very difficult to change, but I think that the history shows that this changes only when people resist, when people rose up against the mighty. I don’t know if a strike is a right way, but I think that it is a way of demonstrating that the anger continues today, in the 2016. But this strike will only work if the students are united, and committed with the fight for the right of free and quality education for everyone in this nation.

Finally I think we should not be confident in a leader, we need to believe in us, in the power of the little people, as Silvio Rodriguez says: “The time is in favour of the small ones” (or something like that).

Sexism publicity

Hi, I’m here again, today I will talk about the problems of the sexism and gender violence, this is an important topic for me and I think should be relevant for all the people in this world, be man or woman,  because equality mean justice.

To address the topic I will show you one type of gender violence, the sexism in the publicity, this is one of the most recurrent and present in more of places, like TV (all the time), streets, foods, etc. 

All this publicity has created a role for the women’s that not represent the real qualities or abilities that we have, limited life of woman, in many aspects. Also this publicity leads to the idea of the woman being treated as an object.

For example this publicity of “Wom” -a telephone company- In this image the body of this women’s is using like an object.

 A women's group is using for pay attention of the people.

In my personal opinion I think this is so disgusting, we were living in twenty one century, we need to change the idea of domination for the idea of equality, because we are humans, persons with the same capabilities and intelligence, we need work together for a better place.

My favorite piece of Technology

Hi, this time I talk about my favorite piece of Technology, which one is - without a doubt- my telephone, I bought this telephone in the winter of 2014, because in my birthday, someone stole my past telephone when I was in the bus, this is a day that I don’t want remember, and I had to buy another telephone, this is the Motorola Moto G, I have used it since this time.

I feel so dependent of this device, because I use all the time, in the morning when I wake up the first I do is see my notifications of Facebook and check Instagram, and all the day is the same, I talk with my friends through it, take photos of my cat, read newspaper, see videos of kittens, etc. In conclusion it is a new world, more easy, and full of possibilities.

For this and much more I love my telephone, because I used it like a tool of entertainment, and connection with my favorite people. I don’t imagine a world without it; I would feel so disconnected of the humanity, and with too much free time.

Hi everyone,

I feel very shocked with my results in the test and quiz, but I will go in order, in first place, I choose a beautiful notebook, HP in special edition with touch-screen! I love touch screen, is so easy to use, this laptop is color red and only cost $560 is a good price. Then I choose a desk so sober and simple, and a little minimalist, this is the Altra Dakota L-shaped Desk, for only $127. 

After my shopping time I realize the test about internet and discovered that I know nothing about 

the internet, this is so sad, because I use it daily, and in the test are you an internet addict?

 I feel so good, because I thought I was addicted, but no! My results are 33 points; I’m a normal person

 jijiji. 

In activity 3 I feel so insecure about my English, but I tried to be better. 

In activity 4 I choose an article about Why do some cultures require women to wear veils? 

I choose this because my career has feminist bases (I think), and they need to question problematic

 like this.

Cats in Valpo

I have four best friends in my life, they are so different and so special, and they represent for me love and support. In this photo we are in Valparaíso, Catherine (the angriest and best chef) took the photo when we were walked for one of the hills of Valparaíso. This photo shows my first time in this place, in the summer of  2013, this is one of  the most beautiful experience for me, because I knew a lot of people and eat too much food (junk food, obviously).

It was so hard choose once photo, because I love take pictures, but in the moment I just think in my friends and my cats, but my cats don’t look good in photos. I think my friends is so important and necessary for me because my sign of zodiac. (yes, I believe in zodiac)

Hi, I hate the introductions, but here we go, my name is Catalina, I’m a cat person, and all about me is bored. I study Social work ♥ in Universidad de Chile and live my life like a normal person who loves the chocolate and hate the rice and write some stories occasionally, my favorite writer is Cortázar because his style is unique and I love for this. Finally I think the world is better with more cats, and more junk food.
